The BBO will be performing a special Summer Concert on Saturday 13th July at St Michael’s Catholic School.
Brian Greene, drummer with the BBO said “This will be only the second concert that the band has ever promoted on its own; following on from the Anniversary Concert last November. We are determined to continually improve our promotional efforts so that we can increase our profile and maximise revenue for the charities we support.”
Adam Linnell, BBO band leader said,”We have charged Brian with the task of creating new events for the band to play at, and the Summer Bash is the second in a sequence of concerts we are promoting. The third is the Christmas Cracker Concert set for 14th December.
The band has renewed vigour following our anniversary and we know that our founder Roy wants us to keep moving forward.
The concert is in aid of The Imani Orphange and there are 150 seats available. The concert will feature a supportive visual element, building on the Timeline Concert and will be a superb night of sunny Big Band Swing.
